Planetarium Field Trip

Our field trip will take place the Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium

One of the highlights of the 2025 SPD Faith & Science Conference will be a night field trip to the Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium on Wednesday the 7th of May . This field trip will include: 

• Viewing space through the Planetarium’s telescope in small groups, weather and moonlight permitting 

• Film of the solar system and space in the Planetarium’s theatre 

• General displays in the Planetarium 

The Planetarium has limited the maximum group size to 125 people, so make sure you book early to secure your seat for this astronomy field trip. Make sure that you don’t miss out on this very memorable event!
